There are some alternatives on how to protect women and their children from discrimination and violence. Here are the following ways:

1. There must be a Proper education for women and children regarding on the Republic Act 9262 so that they may know the entire content of the law as well as their rights.

2. If you discover any discrimination and violence in your place, you can directly coordinate or report the incident to the Barangay officials or police authorities.

3. Create public awareness on  discrimination and violence by explaining them on how it would  effect the lives of the victims.
